Founded in 1974 in Bologna, in the heart of one of the most important industrial manufacturing and logistics districts in Italy, CO&IN began as a pioneer in the production of labels and tags for the fashion sector, making use of extremely cutting-edge machinery and technologies for times.

Since then, our company has grown, expanding its offering to sectors such as food, cosmetics and design.

  • CO&IN is founded, starting with the resale of clothing accessories. Our first logo, an avant-garde retro look for its time

  • The obligation to have a composition label on garments comes into force, the first rotary label printing machines.

  • First Heidelberg GTO letterpress feeder machine for UV offset printing with off-line IST-Giardina oven, first in Italy for four-colour offset labels resistant to washing.

  • Introduction of Computer to Plate with the first Macintosh, Adobe Illustrator 88, Adobe Photoshop 1.0, Adobe Font Folio, Postscript 1.0, Purup ImageMaker 80/10 imagesetter.

  • First 4 color offset 35x50 Komori L420, we start working with the foreign market, France in particular.

  • Third Komori L228 with in-line UV coater, first Exacta machine for automatically threading eyelets/cords/pins into tags. Expansion and new image.

  • First 5-colour white+four-colour digital printer for variable data Ricoh 7100X

  • Installation of photovoltaic panels equal to 100 KWh of power.

  • Obtained FSC system certification and first participation in the Packaging Première fair in Milan.

  • Start of energy and aesthetic redevelopment of offices and production.

  • 2022 installation of first KBA Rapida76 5 colors + bivalent flexo spreader for traditional and UV printing

  • Launch of environmental GAP analysis to verify the environmental impact of production and GMP procedures for printing food packaging.

    Over 1,100 different papers and cards, plastic materials, fabrics, cords, ribbons, eyelets and pins, always available for sampling or urgent production, inventoried in real time.
  • Monitoring

    Integrated software for managing estimates, orders, warehouse, final balances, accounting, every process is under control and updated in real time. We also have a customized e-commerce logistics service for brands with items that can be ordered directly from vendors. We take care of the warehouse and shipping for you and all the necessary customs procedures.

Hempack, a self-assembling box project made of 100% biodegradable paper, produced from raw hemp fibre. Hemp is an annual plant that requires the same pulp production of ¼ of the land as trees.

In the production of hemp paper, the natural glue present in the fiber itself is used, with the sole addition of rainwater and no chemical products in the mixture. Project selected among the finalists of AVANT GARDE PACKAGING PREMIERE


STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is an independent and uniform control and certification system at an international level for raw materials, semi-finished and finished products in the textile sector at every level of processing, as well as for the accessory materials used.

Since 1992, the main purpose of STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® has been the development of scientifically based verification criteria, limit values ​​and test methodologies.


The Global Recycle Standard is promoted by Textile Exchange, one of the most important international non-profit organizations for responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector.

The standard recognizes the importance of recycling for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model, with the aim of promoting the reduction of resource consumption (virgin raw materials, water and energy) and increasing the quality of recycled products.
